“Tales
and Legends of Austria” is a collection of the most famous legends
of Austria retold in English for the first time. This unique
collection of Austrian legends will consist of about 100 stories from
all over Austria and show its main sites in colourful pictures. It
will be the second book in a series on the legends and sagas of
Austria. The first one, called: “Discovering Vienna Through
Legends” takes you in five walking tours to the main attractions of
Vienna and tells its most famous legends.
The new collection will include one of the best-known stories told about the castle ruins of Dürnstein and its famous prisoner King Richard the Lion-Hearted.
